Willow is a decentralized data protocol where every query returns a cryptographic Merkle proof anchored to BFT consensus. Agent memory, blockchain indexing, file and table storage — all tamper-evident, provably authentic, and independently verifiable. No trusted operator required.
AI agents will control $30 trillion in annual purchases by 2030 (Gartner), but their memory is completely unverifiable. Memory poisoning is OWASP’s #1 agentic AI risk for 2026. The agent stack is converging — MCP, A2A, ERC-8004, x402 — but none solve “store and retrieve data with proof it hasn’t been tampered with.” Willow fills that gap.
Store → Agents write structured data or files. Every write is committed to a Merkle tree and finalized by BFT consensus.
Query → Every query returns results alongside a cryptographic proof anchored to the consensus state root.
Verify → Any client verifies the proof independently via light client — no trust in the operator required.
Index → Willow ingests blockchain data and external APIs with the same proof system — a full verified indexing pipeline built in.
