Built on WAVS, the Smart Vault is a delta-neutral, automated liquidity infrastructure that aligns capital with protocols, dynamically ranges funds to active fee zones, and hedges directional exposure to deliver predictable, high-yield returns. By replacing private market makers with protocol-aligned, on-chain liquidity, the Smart Vault retains value within the ecosystem while demonstrating real-world performance, currently achieving 30% APY on company-run capital.

Since its inception, Layer Labs has achieved 18 months of core protocol development, multiple mainnet applications, and a live Smart Vault demo, supported by a $6M seed round in Q2 2024 led by 1kx with participation from Fabric Ventures, Arrington Capital, Protocol Labs, Stake Capital Group, Third Earth Capital, Founder Heads, and IOBC, establishing a strong foundation for scalable, institutional-grade DeFi infrastructure.
