​​​Several startups cities have sprung up that have real-world jurisdiction and land, e.g. Próspera (that harbors Infinita City), Culdesac, Itana, Ciudad Morazán, or Balaji's "Network School" (Forest City).

​These permanent cities are accompanied by experimental popup cities inspired by Vitalik Buterin's "Zuzalu" that has created a new model to catalyze highly aligned online communities into shaping meatspace, like Ipe City, Aleph / Crecimiento or Edge City.

​A new movement is emerging.
