Led by Vitalik Buterin, d/acc is his vision for a more thoughtful approach to technological acceleration—one that prioritizes decentralization, defense, and democracy. In recent years, he has emphasized the need to advance technology without concentrating power, pushing back against models that rely on centralized control. d/acc is co-hosted by Berkeley RDI, a leading academic voice on safe, responsible and decentralized AI & blockchains since Fall 2021.
Nestled in between ETHDenver and 2 major industry conferences, Nvidia’s GTC and the GDC, we’re hosting a week-long event throughout the Bay Area. This means no large conference venues and instead more intimate summits through a curated calendar of events!

Human-Aligned Tech Workshop: Shaping the Future of Ethical Technology
SUBMIT YOUR TALK: https://tally.so/r/m6MZJB
As technology becomes more embedded in our daily lives, we must ask: How can we ensure that the systems we build empower individuals rather than control them? How do we design digital infrastructures that respect privacy, autonomy, and dignity while fostering collaboration?
The Human-Aligned Tech Workshop is an immersive, interdisciplinary session that brings together thinkers, builders, and creatives to explore the principles of self-sovereign digital personhood, decentralized governance, and trust-minimized authentication. Through structured discussions, creative exercises, and hands-on ideation, participants will engage with The Covenant, a framework that envisions a future where human agency remains at the heart of technological evolution.
GDC: The Heartbeat of Game Development
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the world’s premier event for developers who make the games we love. GDC is the destination for creativity, innovation, and excellence. It’s no wonder some of the biggest names in gaming got their start at GDC!
This event will connect leading researchers, entrepreneurs, and founders spearheading progress at the frontiers of AI and neuroscience/technology on shared goals for the fields.
BrainMind will host BrainMind Startup Salon and Five Fire Pit Gathering in Menlo Park. We will bring together entrepreneurs from the most innovative companies working at the intersection of the neuroscience, mind science, AI, and consciousness.
This private, open-air gathering will bring together visionary entrepreneurs and investors for a magical evening under the stars—surrounded by thought-provoking conversations and cutting-edge neurotechnology.
This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with pioneering founders at the cutting edge of neurotechnology, AI, and mind science—where bold ideas and breakthrough innovations are shaping the future.
BrainMind Salons are invitation-only. All participants are members of the BrainMind ecosystem and are carefully selected for potential contribution, influence, and intent. Apply below if you are interested in attending gatherings like this.
The BrainMind Science Collective series will unite 150 scientists, innovators, and thought leaders working at the forefront of brain and mind sciences, alongside cross-disciplinary thinkers from AI, physics, and beyond.
These gatherings will be "unconference", shaped not by a fixed agenda but by the collective energy and curiosity of the hand-picked participants. The format is open and unstructured, with ample space for spontaneity and creativity. Together, our diverse group of curious, accomplished attendees will set the course, guiding discussions, leading breakout groups, and delivering 5-minute lightning talks. It promises to be an intense, unpredictable, enlivening weekend--a living, breathing testament to curiosity and discovery.
